Dr. Robert George

Dr. Robert George is a native to Yorktown and has practiced dentistry on the Peninsula for over 20 years. He attended Eastern Mennonite University where he received a BS in Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where he was a member of Psi Omega.

Dr. George and his family attend Coastal Community Church in Yorktown. His volunteer work has included service at the Lackey Free Clinic, serving on the Boys & Girls Club Board, providing dental health education for York County elementary students, and judging the York County science fair. He has also served as the Dinner Chair for the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. Dr. George enjoys singing and playing the guitar, the great outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Enthusiastically backed by his wife of 25 years, Diana, and their two children, Dr. George invests himself even more fully in the future of York County Schools as a member of the York County School Board. Dr. George served as the Chair of the York County School Board in 2016 and now serves as the Vice-Chair.

He enjoys leisure time with his family and friends which may include music, singing, playing the guitar and all water activities.
