Dr. Nomara Aslam

Dr. Nomara Aslam has a strong commitment to education combined with a compassionate spirit to positively impact lives. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Aslam pursued her passion for dentistry, where she graduated at the pinnacle of her class with a dental degree from Hamdard University, Pakistan. After practicing for three years, she decided to pursue her passion for Orofacial Pain in the United States.

Dr. Aslam pursued specialized training in an esteemed Orofacial Pain program at Rutgers University, New Jersey. She earned the role of Chief Resident in her program and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Orofacial Pain.

Continuing her strong commitment to education, Dr. Aslam achieved the prestigious status of Diplomate, earning board certification from the American Board of Orofacial Pain. This distinction places her among a select group of dentists in the United States with specialized expertise in the field. She understands that each patient’s experience of pain is unique, and she collaborates closely with her patients to develop tailored strategies for relief.

When she is not positively impacting her patients’ lives, Dr. Aslam enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her son and husband, who is also a dentist practicing at Yorkshire Family Dentistry, Dr. Shadid.
